All Ribsy the dog wanted that day was to ride along with his boy, Henry Huggins, in the new family station wagon. But a wild turn of events finds Ribsy lost in a rainy shopping mall parking lot, discovered by a rowdy group of little girls, and taken to a strange home where he's scrubbed with violet-scented shampoo and petted half to death.
